Wow, check out this vintage Alvarez Yairi DY-87... Ever see anything like this? Sorry, it's not an Ibanez, but I've never seen one of these before...

Did you read about the bridge lifting? That is common with 12 string acoustics tuned to pitch. Imagine what 18 strings can do. I played the Ovation twin acoustic and it was not a good guitar. It was brand new and already the top was warped and the 12 string saddle was pulling up. This one looks like it stood the test of time very well. And its made in Japan.

That is pretty cool...

I wonder if/when Taylor may come out with a double neck T5? They are releasing a solid body electric next... maybe a 6/12 combo is not far behind! (GAS attack coming!)

Looks neat, doesn't it?

Yeah, bridge lifting is indeed common, but it looks like this was repaired. That's a pretty honkin' bridge on this A-Y, so I suspect a fix will hold up. Pretty cool; maybe I'll bid. I asked the seller if it played well, and he said it did (I'm not sure why I bothered asking. :-) )

This one's bidding up. Must be pretty rare. Some of these A-Ys are really nice guitars.
