Author Message   Chucke99 Username: Chucke99 Registered: 2-2007 Posted on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 - 1:30 pm:    I've got a line on a 1978 Artwood Series model AW-60, with a solid spruce top, rosewood fretboard and bridge, and mahogany sides and back (according to the owner). Two questions: Is it a good player? And, what's a good price for it. I'd have to drive about 50 miles to get it, but then, I don't mind driving for a nice guitar. Yes, it is a good player. I got two of these (look: http://kreativ-lab.de/artwood/originale.html ). Here in Germany you should pay about 300 to 500 Euro for one in good or fine condition include the original case. They are really rare and hard to find. Look for cracks in the mahogany in the back around the neck (dehydration).
