my question : which acoustic models are the latest build in Japan.

i'm looking for a Japanese build steelstring acoustic guitar.

I'm not sure of the answers to your questions, but it is worthwhile to keep this thread active and try to get the answers. Hey, who can help out with this?

I'll guess that it was around '85-'87 that Korea came on-line, but don't know when they took over acoustic production.
