Hi,
today Iīve bought an Ibanez Concord 372 - 12 which I had seen on Ebay Germany and I want to know as much as possible about this guitar. It looks similar to a 670 - 12 which I found at other sites. Does anybody know something about this guitar? Iīve also seen that a 342 - 12 model appeared in the forum which seems to me like a twin of the 342 - 12. Unfortunatley Iīve got no serial number at the moment because I still havenīt got it here in Berlin.
Ther are some photos made by the seller (Item # at ebay Germany:735585628 - in case you wonder: I bought the guitar after no one had placed a bid on the item)

Thanks a lot in advance,
Ulrich}

I did a search on ebay for that item number, but it came up with no results. Can you post a complete URL to the item?

As far as acoustics go, 372-12 is a new one to me. I have not seen any model numbers below the 600s (except for the 62 and 79 models). At this time, I have seen no information on this model.

Hi,
Iīm sorry Johns, I forgot the last number, the 6 was missing. The correct Itemnumber is # 7355856286

The URL is

OK, that URL worked. How do you know that the model number is 372-12? I don't see it in the auction description. The headstock design and inlay looks like one that was used in the late 70s and early 80s. Most Concords have the Ibanez Script logo. But the binding on this is not like any, newer, non-Concord models I've seen.

Sorry, I have more questions than answers for you. It would help to see a picture of the label inside. Also, check for a serial number on the inside, on the neck block.

Hi Johns
because the guitar is still on itīs way, I canīt say any more than what the seller told me. He said the label says Concord 372 - 12. As soon I got it here at home I will post the serial number.
In the meantime I found one anonymus rating for this model at harmony -central. At least it shows that the model really exists and that it was probably made in the late 70s. The URL is:
http://www.harmony-central.com/Guitar/Data4/Ibanez/M372_12_String-1.html
This is a start.
I will be glad if anyone could help to find more information about this 372-12 model.
Thanks
julai

Ahhh, an "M"372! The M stands for Maple series. The serial number will probably reveal it's from around '76 or '77. Still, I've never seen or heard of the 372 model, til now. It will be a treat to see your's when it arrives.

In the meantime, here's a thread showing another M series 12 string, the M342-12:

I'm with John on this one - I'll be looking forward to seeing pics as I am not familiar with the M372 either.

Cheers
Russ
