I know $900.- is a lot of money, but man, what a guitar! I still remember testing a MIJ Sigma SD-35 (solid rosewood) for ƒ1600.- The best intonated dreadnought I ever had in my hands. I didn't decide quick enough and then it was gone. After that I've been looking for a good solid top Sigma for years. Now I own a Korean Sigma SDR-41, which is nice, cheaper but not as super as a solid rosewood of course. But I had it upgraded with a bone bridge and nut. Pity you couldn't convince her, it's a beautiful piece of art. I was working in a music store at the time (mid-late 70s) & got to play them side-by-side with the real Martin D-35s... damned close. Amazing for $350, at the time. Of course, I couldn't afford one then, because... I was working in a music store! Any idea what factory made those early MIJ Sigmas?
