Can anyone give me some info on my Ibanez AW-20?

The serial number is 82070008D and I bought it in 1982 (I think).
I don't have a picture to post right now but its color is different of all I've seen here. Are there many of these around? What's today's value for it? (no, not thinking of selling it. I like it too much).

Muguele:

Here's a picture from an '82 catalog. Does this look like your's?

82Artwood20

Here's the specs:

back & sides: mahogany
binding: white and black
neck: select mahogany
fretboard: rosewood with pearl dots
bridge: rosewood with Tru-Tone saddle
pickguard: tortoise shell color
bridge endpins: white with black dots
machine heads: Smooth tuner

One price list (don't know what year) puts the list price at $345.00 US.

That's the one!

Thank you, Johns!

Does anyone here own one?
How do you like it?
It had the strings a little high on the frets but since I had them put down a bit it turned out to be a fine guitar with a good sound, considering what I paid for it at the time (around $143.50 USD).
It has been my guitar for more than 20 years now and will be until I get rich and buy a Martin D-45.

I would like to hear more from you guys about this one.

I have one, 82070029D, exactly as pictured. First post here, I found this forum looking for info on it. I purchased it new, must have been around 1982. Last night I checked the truss rod, found it not needing adjustment, then removed the bridge to shave it. Over the years the top has arched a little. The action needed to come down 1.5mm. This is the first time this guitar has been touched in 20+ years, other than for strings ofcourse.

Its a very good knock off of the Martin D45, and tho I have "better" guitars, this one is a real keeper. You cant reproduce 24 years with a guitar, and this one has aged beautifully.

I also have a Concorde Hummingbird which I have just given my son, which I bought before this one. Both these guitars have proven to be stayers over a long period of time.

Regards, Spaghetti
