Hi there!
Do a search for "lonestar" and "lone star" on this forum to find what's been written about them so far. Acetan has quite a few, and i have a couple as well. I have an LS340... there seem to be new (as in unseen) variations popping up all the time...
If you are an electric guitar player you will fall in love with the neck instantly. As the headstock hints, they were introduced with the electric guitarist in mind, at a time when acoustic sales were lulling. Lovely guitars, hope you like it when it arrives!
By the way, there is the LS series (acoustic) and the LE series (acoustic-electric).

Hi Scbrown,

I had my eyes on that LS as well and didn't bid on it thinking I have too many guitars the way it is. I know I'll kick myself soon enough. Anyway, congratulations on a nice score. $200 is a very good price for an LS510. It is a great guitar and I'm sure you'll love it. I think I've posted a scan of the LS acoustics on this site somewhere. Just do a search on "Lonestar".

Agree with Ace, though i'm not up on prices over your side of the pond. These guitars dont come up very often, so it's a case of them being worth as much as whoever wants one at that given time.

But i cant help feeling that throughout the range, you're getting a lot of guitar for your money...

hey thanks acetan and sibly,
that was a big help, now i just can't wait to get it so i can see how it sounds. i also have an NW360 with birds eye maple top, back and sides which sounds awesome but i can never seem to find any info on it, and my dad has a 78 model M340 Concorde, and sounds awesome as well. Just with my experience with ibanez acoustics, more towards the 70's and 80's, they had great sounding guitars.

yes, it arrived earlier this week, i have not seen it myself yet, but my dad says it almost perfect, not even any nicks or dents in it. i'm in the service and am not home at the moment. he sent it to a friend of ours to set it up, of course it came with dead strings so i don't know how it really can sound yet, but i'll post it up as soon as i know.

an absolute great guitar, the sound really impressed me. i don't have any pictures taken of it yet i don't have a camera but as soon as i do i'll post it up. my only inquiry is whether or not this guitar has solid top, back, and sides, it doesn't specify which, so i know that usually means it doesn't. However, i would have a hard time believing this guitar is laminate with the sound it produces. and unfortunately the 510bk is black everywhere so i can't tell whether it's solid by looking, just curious if anyone knows, or would know where to find out.
