I am selling my acoustic because I just don't play it. It's in decent shape, with the usual scuffs. Any guess on how to price it? I am selling locally through Craigslist, instead of ebay. Thanks.

Helloid,

I just picked up a V390 on eBay for just $199 and was really surprised there was no other interest in the guitar (I was the only bidder). The 390 has a half vine inlay on the neck and I believe was the top of the foodchain for the V series acoustics. I would guess the price for a less ornamental 300 would be a bit lower.

Today, the V is an entry level acoustic series for Ibanez and is at the bottom of the price scale. I'm not sure if that were true or not in the 80s. Even if it were, the fact that it was made in Japan, not Korea would help in its resale value.

Based on the price I payed for the V390 in an open market like eBay, I would guess your V300 may fetch in the $100-$200 range tops on Craigslist.
