I just saw this Artist (is it a 2604?) for sale, asked price is 475€ or 600$. I recently bought a AW500 (1996) to my son paying 260€/335$, and now I got the Ibanez bug. There is an Artist 2609 from 1977 in my local musicstore and they want 410€/520$ for it. That one is going to be mine!! I might sell my wifes dog to fund this deal. I´m just a beginner playing guitar but why not start with something very good! Anyway... here´s the link

Yes Jcmc64, this is what the ad says:
A very fine guitar with great sound. Beautiful mother of pearl star inlays.
Valued at €850/$1065. You pay €475/$600.
Can take a Fender valvetop (is that a amplifier ?) in exchange. Can be sent.

That´s it, nothing specific about the condition though.

Thx, Ulf...

Hmmm, is that a private seller or a store?
Whoever it is, I doubt they'd want to ship to USA
I'd only be interested in it if it was minty and OHSC at that price...

Hi again.
It is a private seller. What does OHSC stand for? ...Ulf

Original Hard Shell Case...just abbreviated way to say "original case" versus a non original case, soft gig bag or something else.

Is that just a classified website over there in Sweden? does he have an email listed?...maybe I'll shoot him an email for kicks and see what happens.

Thx for your help

His email is hidden, but if you click the envelope (Mejla annonsören) your email will be redirected to him via this site (Blocket). When he answers your mail you will see his adress. You could phone him on +46709705246 (thats a cell phone), his name is Sven. Local time when writeing this is 11 am so you probably won´t wake him up if you call now. Most people in Sweden speak English so that shouldn´t be a problem. Good luck and let us know what happens. ...Ulf

If you prefer "blonds" this might interest you. It´s a J540 (spruce & maple) from around -78, the pickgard looks strange though. The guy selling didn´t know it´s value and asked $200 for it but now it is bidding and last night the higest bid was $400. He will close the bidding
friday 8 pm local time. ...Ulf
