Need help finding model number

Author Message Bhwhiteside (Bhwhiteside) Posted on Thursday, July 10, 2003 - 3:55 pm:    I have an Ibanez Artwood acoustic that I bought used from a friend a couple years ago for $800 (he bought it for $1200 a couple years before I bought it from him) The serial number is: 96081957 It is an Ibanez AW acoustic/electric, cutaway, a lot like a grand auditorium Taylor shape, with a Fishman Equipped electronics system. Abalone on headstock, abalone inlay, abalone soundhole rosette, and abalone snowflakes on bridge, with white bridge pins w/ pearl dots. Sitka spruce top w/ Indian Rosewood back/sides/headstock. Gold grover tuners. If anyone can give me any info on this, it would be greatly appreciated. I may try and sell the guitar (any offers?) I'll see if I can post pictures later Cameron (Cameron) Posted on Thursday, July 10, 2003 - 7:24 pm:    The model of your Artwood is AG600E, it was built in August 1996 and was the 1957 guitar built for that month.This guitar used to retail in Australia for $1395.00. It was avaiable downunder from Feb.1996 till Jan.1998 when it was discontinued from the range. Are there pics anywhere that I can look at? I have never seen another Ibanez like it.
