Has anyone ever played one of the older single-cutaway nylon-strung Ibanez guitars? There was one called the Lone Star, which was similar to the Chet Atkins, and there was a full-bodied model with an arched back. I'm wondering what they sound like.

Hello,
I just bought an AE450 and it is a great sounding and
playing guitar. Besides being a beautiful instrument, the action and intonation on this one is top notch. I'm used to playing traditional
classical rigs with wider necks and this one
is more like a steel string width, but it was too nice to pass up. I feel I made a wise purchase. the cutaway makes it easy to play high solo leads and the feel and smoothness of the fingerboard is great. I have been trying like mad to find any info about this guitar. When was it made?, How much is it worth, what was the original price, how many were made, etc. I have not had much luck. It lead me to this site and this was the one and only reference to this instrument I could find. Please let me know if anyone else can share some light on
the elusive AE450. Pluckman, Michael

The AE-450 was made in 1984&1985.
