Have never heard a guitar with such a HUGE chiming sound (been in many bands too). Every time it's picked up and played she amazes at what comes out of the sound hole. The sound is simply awesome.

Have a very old Martin D-28 and it doesn't come close to the booming music that comes out of the Ibanez 2602.

New to Ibanez Collectors site and will put up some pictures if can figured out how to do it.

Welcome to the board ObiWan!
I was looking through an old Japenese catalog and have a 8.5 by 11 spec sheet on the Artist 2602 Dreadnaught 12 string. It's really a nice looking guitar. This one shows the pearl inlays with the star fret markers and the soundhole is trimmed with black and white purflings. Glad you have held onto your guitar all these years.
