Does anyone please, have any info on my acoustic. Model no. V150VS s/n. E71002112
Bought it three years ago from a shop in the backstreets of Naples, Italy for 230,000Lira (about £70-00) in immaculate condition, whilst there on business.
I it find very easy to play & with quite a bright tone - I really like it.
Was wondering if anyone can tell me anything about this instrument such as; when it was made, price, materials, current value etc.
Thanks

Hi Barmy, the guitar you have was built in October 1997 and was the 2,112 guitar made for that month.
It's a Solid Spruce top with Mahogany neck, back and sides.
These were around from 1997 till early 2000, then they were discontinued and now they have been re-released for the 2004 range.
They were available in cutaway acoustic/electric model too. The RRP on these guitars was $469.00 here in Australia.

Many Thanks Captain Ibanez. Sounds like I got a bargain there.
Off to the bass section now - got another Ibanez that I would like to find out more about.
Cheers Barmy
