I would like to know more about this guitar, which was purchased at a second-hand store for AUS$75. So far, I can't find anyone who can date this model. The Series number on the label inside says 1290T. The "T" appears to have been stamped on at time of manufacture, and the 1290 would then be the guitar type? The headstock is like a classical guitar; that is, the strings go through the head and over the tuning pegs rather than the tuning pegs protruding out from the headstock. The neck also has a null fret at the top, and the bridge is suspended underneath a saddle that is screwed to the side just above where the strap button is located.

Is there anyone who can help with information on date of manufacture, etc?

Thanks,

Mitch

Sorry for any confusion this may have caused, but the number on the inside label is a Model number, not a Series number.

Regards,

Mitch
