hi all,

being new to this forum, first of all a good day to you from another guitar maniac ;-)

i recently started getting more into acoustics and am now searching for a good acoustic featuring solid rosewood back and sides and a solid spruce top. i looked into the recent yamaha LL models which seem to be very good guitars. on the other hand, last weekend i had the chance to play a vintage 691, which put a martin d-28 to shame (both guitars were approx. 30 years old). the 691 filled the room in such a way that i was utterly astounded even without knowing anything about which make or model it was. since then, i try to gather information on vintage ibanez axes and would like to know which ones are solid rosewood and which of those you'd recommend most.

thanks for your input.
