This is a Greco telecaster from 1976. It was made in the same factory as the Ibanez 2352. If the brand on the headstock is not as important as the quality of the instrument, then this might be for you. If it's not the right color, there are other Greco tele's on eBay all the time at varying prices.

Thanks guys, i had seen that one at wutzdog guitars, tried to email the store a few times, never had a response, not sure if the seller didn't want to ship overseas or what happened. Price was higher than i wanted to pay but i still would have been happy. I do see a few of those Grecos Chuck, unfortunately the logo is an essential part of the guitar for me!

I've got that model from Kasuga... Natural. I replaced the pickups. Perhaps my humbucker can be saved, but then it needs a total rewind job.
It says on the back:
Maxon
Pat. Pend
[STAMP:] 13.25

Hi all

Noticed something odd?
This one for sale at Wutzdog is a black (?) 2352 DX.

my picture

Is it black or is it very dark brown? Is it because of the colour settings of my monitor that it appears black? Iīve got the brown (walnut) version and I brightened up the picture of the Wutzdog one, but I believe it really is black!
If itīs not a refinish itīs ultra rare, since these were dark brown in the catalogues.

Compare the colour to the colour of the (sold) 2352 CT...seems the same to me:

Hmmm...new discovery?

I sent the Wurzdog guys an email about the originality of the colour. I would be very interested in this one if the colour is original black!!!!
If I get a reply Iīll let you know.

Kind greetz,
Harry

Just got a reply from the guys at Wutzdog guitars. They looked closer at the guitar and had to admit that there was evidence of an overspray job, although the refinish was well done. But there were traces of "spray-impact" that raised the suspect of an overspray.
Pity.....an original black one would have been an ultra rare variety....
