Is this one real? Headstock inlay looks a bit weird maybe..? Otherwise it looks original to me. Nice piece that's for sure. However, the seller is not certain about the authenticity of the guitar. Any opinions here?

It is on there for a while now. I see too many oddities on this one to think it might be born as an Ibanez. Ibanez is known for its inconsistencies but this one is too far off in my opinion.

Yes, I was out for the weekend, so I was not able to react immediately.
I had my doubts too about this guitar and I still have these doubts now that Iīve actually had it in my hands.
I met the guy and this guitar and I immediately had my doubts because of the logo. It was shiny white and if you looked closely you could see that it was a waterslide under a thin layer of laquer. As I opened the compartiment for the electronics and the cavity for the toggle switch I could clearly see that the guitar once must have had a sunburst finish.
Could it be an Ibanez 2650 CS that has been professionaly refinished? It would also explain the block inlays, which should be trapeziod if it were a genuine 2651.
It also had bindings on the back of the body, so that also confirmed the possibility of a refinished 2650 CS.
The guitar was in overall good condition, except for some fret buzzing in the higher positions. It was heavy and had a solid top.
Although itīs a nice (Japanese) Les Paul copy I still doubt if it is originally an Ibanez.
