The high bidder, who was the high bidder for days... suddenly retracted his/her bid in the last 24 hours. It says $255.- now. Wouldn't it be wise to pull the guitar back and relist it with a reserve? Did you notice that you don't have 21 real bids? The bid of $255.- was placed 14 TIMES !!! So actually you had 7 + 1 = 8 bids and 5 bidders. What does setting a reserve cost? It looks as if a few guys are playing a game here, Brent. Build in some protection. That could be a reserve, but also a higher starting bid would be a possibility. Why would you give your guitar away for $1.- or $255.- ? I had a rash of bid retractions this go around on eBay. Anyway, I like my Challenger enough to keep her around... rather than let her go for a stupid price or be involved in some game playing. agconte.1 was the bidder who retracted.... Better woods were used and less pieces of wood to make the body and the neck from. The Challenger series always had model numbers not starting with 23 but with 25. I wonder: didnīt have the Challenger series always a "C" prefix in the serial number? This one has not..... I really do like this strat. I spent some big dough on an amplifier so I needed to liquidate some gear to pay for it. I agree that there might be little or none difference as far as the sound and playability are concerned, although opinions may differ here too. Depending on how "picky" somebody is. Anyone else here who has also experience with both Silver and Challenger and can give us his opinion when it comes to comparing?
