guitar was looked over by Paul @ bordeauxinlay.com

he stated;

The colorful shell is Paua abalone, typically found in New Zealand. This is what the truss rod cover, body border and the "suns rays" on the switch plate are cut from. the neck inlays are Paua too, the switch cover is mother of pearl.

It appears to be good work ! !

I thought I saw somewhere that this guitar was vintage. Sure looks like either Antoniotsai or Bruce wei's work-vintage 2006 !

this guitar as far as I know the inlay was done by a small shop in japan before the guitar was ever sold..

it's not that ebay dude..
