Yes, it could be. These models came under the brand name Ibanez, I don't know if they appeared with other brand names too.
Please have a look at our site and check out Hasy's collection. He has two or three of these. Please notice the fact that the headstock shape can differ (from badge to badge?), because we see them with tuner configuration "6 in a row" as well as "3 left, 3 right".
These models mostly had nailed-on metal logo's who could easily be removed or just disappeared over the years. This would leave two little holes in the headstock, which I don't see on the guitar in this particular auction. So I eventually think that it originally had a glued-on brandname other than Ibanez...

Thanks- I think it was your site that I recall seeing this type of guitar originally. Rhis particular one could have had the headstock repaired, there is a visiably piece that looks like it could have been replaced with a different type of wood!
