Hi Paul!

I allready have one in my collection and I was seriously thinking about giving it a shot this evening, when the auction ends and bids are low. These are pretty rare and the one that's offered seems to be in almost mint condition. It would be a slight improvement of the one I have (that is in condition "very good"- some dings and dongs on the backside of the body).
But if you are seriously interested (and I think you are, since you are THE "Les Paul hunter" ) I won't bid against you.
Please let me know what you're up to...
Kind greetz,
Harry

Hey guys,

I haven't bid yet. You'll know my ebay name when you see it.I am waiting to snipe. Truth is there are quite a few out there so I am not in a hurry on this one.
Fox: thanks for your kindness, appreciate it! and Harry: I'll try to land this one if the price stays right. But since I intend to play it, if it is in better shape then yours, maybe we can trade them out. Yours is more than likely good enough for me to bash up in smokey back-alley bars.

Okay Paul!
I'll try to "land" the one on Ebay and sell you mine for 100 Euro's more....
No...just kidding. But I have to consider in order to know how high I will bid: if I'm the winner and if I sell my actual Recording to you (which is really in very good, original shape and perfectly working) how much would you pay for it? If you can name a price (let's say: 350-400 Euro) than I know I can bid up to 450/500 or so.
Please respond if you will.
Kind greetz,
Harry

Seems that one has some work that needs to be done...now if you had orig. pickup(s) and tuners and some time to baby it..like I'm sure you do.

If I bid, I don't think my final would stand till the end either...either way, I won't bid until the last min on this one, so there will be no price war. :-)

You shure I have the time to baby it? Were did you get that knowledge?

Working about 80 hrs a week and a (lovely)wife and kids. Time gets a bit scarce that way. I have about seven or eight guitars lying around in their cases waiting to restore.
Not complaining though. Love my life!

Yeah, I'm married with children too.. :-)

I should have said...had the pickup(s) and tuners...like I know you do...time...well, we all know how that is. :-)

I think I got some tuners and pups for that guitar in the partsbin. That's right.

I do enjoy the family. My oldest daughter (10) starts snagging "her" guitar more and more. Just like I did to my dads ones when I was a kid.

Only problem I have with that is that she starts playing better than I do!
