hi fellows,
saw this flying v bass on ebay short before ending. I would have loved to get this one from december 1976, but could not afford it at the moment. and I was not sure about the upper pus in white. the only v-basses from ibz I saw had black ones. any knowledge about this one? was it worth the price?

Damn.....missed this one. I sure would love to have that ultra-rare piece in my collection. Too bad I'm very busy lately and don't have many opportunities to closely watch Ebay....And it went for a reasonable price, too! I would have bid upto 750/800 dollars to get this one!
You're right about the pickups: these must be (DiMarzio?) replacements, because the original ones always were black.
