Hello Billy. We heard about it but it's probably tricky getting a copy for the Yanks and in Oz the mag is blooming expensive.

Could you contact the editor and ask if we can post a copy of the article on the site after it clears the news stands?

Assuming John is ok with that.

Same as Six.
I've been checking stands every day all over Sydney, so far to no avail.

Theres a thread on here somewhere where JohnS mentioned we all could provide pics for this article. Some posters here did and their guitars are in the magazine. Can't find the thread now...

The editor was supposed to send me a complimentary issue. But I haven't seen anything yet.

Hi All

The editor has send me 2 copies of the March issue, since I cooperated in this article. I'm quoted several times and there are 18 (!) pictures of my Ibanez guitars used as illustration.
The article spreads over 5 pages. It's a must-have for all you Ibanez (lawsuit copies) freaks.
You could order copies by the Internet.

Kind greetz,
Harry

Yo
I also got quoted 3 times. He wanted to speak with someone who’d worked in the trade at the time and someone had passed on my mail address to the editor – presumably Harry or someone else from this forum. We chatted for about an hour and I found him to be a decent and honourable guy – he could have done the article without quoting sources.

My street-cred has risen considerably with my kids as I’m mentioned in the same paragraph as Eddie Van Halen. Me and Eddie……..!!!!!

Is it UK Guitarist? I found a March UK Guitarist yesterday but couldn't find the article. What's on the cover of the issue?

It's in "Guitar Buyer" magazine. There is a pic of a metal top, Les Paul shaped James Trussart guitar on the cover.

Hi All!

Confusion!!!!!

1. There is an article in the March issue of "Guitarist" about copy guitars of the seventies in general. This issue has a blue Les Paul guitar with yellow "do not enter-crime scene" tape wrapped around its body.

2. In this month's issue of "Guitar Buyer" is an article about Hasy and me referring to our Ibanez collecting passion. I don't know what's on that cover, because I have not received it yet.

Kind greetz,
Harry
