I need to replace the pickup rings on this model (just purchased) and discovered that they are slightly smaller because of the tight space they fit in (pickguard area especially on neck pickup) and I am wondering if there is a source that has these ready made. I don't think the standard dimensions for common LP style HB rings will work. Any help from someone experienced in this type of replacement is appreciated. Thanks!

I just checked mine and tried a few different DiMarzio rings, new and old,and they all fit.
I have had to trim and file other rings in the past but Dimarzio's have never given me any problems.Check with them dirrectly to get exact specs just to be sure but I have a stock '76 and they all fit fine so you should be okay.
