Hello! Recently acquired a pre-lawsuit/pre-serial number, completely original and near-mint 1975 Destroyer with original near-mint case. Stamped at the last fret is "072"...the 72nd one made. Two of the 6 intonation adjustment screws need to be replaced on the S T bridge. Can ANYONE help??? Thanks VERY much!! Mark (mrbluesman@sprintmail.com)

Post a pic of the bridge and especially of the screws. I might have what you need as I am replacing the whole "guts" in my Artist bridge with NOS and will have extra.

Paul, THANKS!!! Pitviper-THANK YOU for responding!!!!!!! Man, I hope you can help!! Had the guitar since Aug. and have YET to play it!!! I'll post a pic later tonight. If it is any help, the bridge is stamped ST MAde in Japan. The screws are flatheads and have a small, square-ish head that, when tightened all of the way, recessess into the bridge so that the screws and bridge surfaces are equal. The screws go thru a small spring and screw into the notched saddle. There is listing on eBay that has the bridge if you want to take a look... item #330037088196. Says it is from a 1972 custom agent. Appears to be the same bridge, however, it is gold.

You're welcome...but I suspect they are different animals. With round heads, and they don't install flush..probably not what your looking for.

Good luck...

Sorry for the delay in posting a pic of the bridge and screw, but I just couldn't get a pic in focus good enough. This guitar (eBay #300039812935) has the same bridge, though. Mine is chrome...but I'll take a couple of gold screws if that's all I can get. If ANYONE can help...!!!!!
