Hi all

Found this on German Ebay. Never seen, never heard of....
Home project?? Set neck, slanted logo, star tuners.....
The rounded edges of the body plus the white colour (overspray?) and of course the built-in electronics puzzle me.....this canīt be stock, can it?

Sorry John for just putting in the direct Ebay link.
Could you change that into the ICW friendly link? Dunno how to do that.....

Why dont you ask the seller what the add on knobs and switches are for ? Maybe its to communicate w/ A.L.F.s I looked all over, and i couldnt find anything that has all those switches, and knobs, thats why it looks like add ons to me ?The electronics cover plate on the back of guitar looks like a modification.

In my opinion, this is a 2650 that's been stripped, front and back binding removed, all its contours softened with a belt sander, had a few mods put in and then refinished white.

What a shame

Yeah...thought so myself.
Another rare one (because: set neck Les Paul copy) lost. Damn shame!

Thanks for the input!

I can't recall seeing a set neck Les Paul Custom in white before... do they exist in the wild... and if so, how long on average am I going to be waiting/saving until one turns up I can try and throw more cash at than others are willing somewheres like ebay? I'd guess they are out there somewhere since the black versions are from time to time. Top of my want list right now is a set neck Les Paul Custom in white... if Ibanez made one.

Catalogues only mention black and cherry sunburst.

But they say black, wine red and tobacco only for the 2651 models and there was a cherry sunburst 2651 on eBay recently so who knows...

The only Ibanez Les Paul Custom clone I recall seeing in white was the 2350 and that's a bolt on model.

I've seen some bolt neck models before... Custom models with original white finish, all the correct Custom binding, etc... just haven't seen any set neck versions I don't think. If this one was actually white to begin with (suppose it is possible) then this would be the first white set neck I've seen... however chopped up it may be.

Bolt on whites are plenty...
