I own what I have determined to be a 2616 N Ibanez. It is a fully hollow, dual humbucker, laminated maple jazz guitar in the same shape and size as a Gibson ES-175. This one is natural finish, has dual abalone inlay on each side of the creme binding front and back, a decorative inlay down the center seam in the back, the distinctive star inlays on the fretboard, and all gold hardware. I would appreciate any additional information that someone could help me with on this one. No serial number, so it is difficult to tell the actual date of manufacture.

The only info I have is taken from the 1977 Price List:

#2616 Jazz Artist Natural Maple $450.00

I see that you had it up for auction on ebay, but pulled it. Did you decide to keep it?

I had an opportunity to pick up a very nice 1958 Guild T-100 and was going to sell the 2616 to do that. In the end I just could not part with it. Now the permanent collection is increased by 1.
