No,

It is not. I already got one (not a good argument....)and besides that the budget is getting a little low(better argument). I have to hold some reserve for whenever the 2651BS shows up.

Paul:

So, what do you think of this one? Is it a solid top like a real LP or a PF400? I've always wanted one.

I've been drooling over it a day or two now. Mine needs a twin, I'm hoping this stays in budget... plus this one is original and isn't beat up like the one I just got two months ago. My fingers are crossed! This one is two months younger too, lol.

@ JohnS: These are solid tops like the real thing or like 2650 (custom replica's). I have never held a PF400 but they should be the same. I think they are very good guitars, top of the line. Not comparable to my beloved 2350, 2386 or 2405. Much better constructed.

This one looks to be in good shape, all original except for 1 changed pickup (auction states the original pickup is included in the case) and I have never seen these models with speed knobs so they could be replaced but if so, that is a minor problem in my book.

If you want one go for it. They are not that common. Downside is they can command a lot of $$$$

After looking at the pictures of this one again, it seems to have a similar amount of wear and tear... maybe this one is in a little better condition than mine I picked up for $450 US... which I think means I got a heck of a deal 3 months ago on mine!!! I just now saw the wear on the top of the guitar at the top edge (mine has similar wear that was touched up at the bottom of the top. Mine also has lots of little divits, but they appear to be in the clear and don't seem to go into the black. The back of my neck has also been touched up, or... some of the finish/clear has just worn through or something but no damage. Frets are still good, tabs still around all fret edges so they don't seem to have been replaced either. I'm impressed, the two guitars are pretty similar. I also think mine has one swapped pickup and one original; I haven't changed strings yet and pulled pickups to find out if the backwards facing pickup in the neck is even a Ibanez pickup... and I'm still confused as to why a guitar shop had it in there backwards while it hung in their shop... it sounds great as is, could it be wired to work this way or not fellas? Maybe that's all it is, was wired to be backwards... just an idea, I'm no electrician, lol. I've taken pictures three seperate days Lesp@ul and still can't get but a few pictures I'm happy with. I'll be posting the ones that turned out good anyway and I'll let you know when I get those up. I'm doing lots of non-guitar ebaying this month! I pulled my custom out of her case last night to stare... so pretty! I hope someone here ends up with this thing... the top wear really negates the need for me to have two in similar condition in the same color... although I'd love to have that pickguard!!!
