Hi,

I recently bought a '77 silver series strat. It has been well used (lots of dings, buckle wear etc) and is far from original.

I would like to find an "original" replacement bridge for the lock nut / floyd rose thing is has right now.

I also need a white cover plate (is that how you call these things?) that covers the tremelo springs on the back of the guitar.

Is it possible to find original parts? If not does anyone know where I can find parts that come close to the originals?

Thanks,

John

John,

Good luck with your project! Ibanez seemed to stick close to common Fender dimensions on a lot of parts. I think you'll find an aftermarket cover plate fits nicely. I've sucessfully replaced Roadstar covers with "generic" parts.

Steve
