I have a Ibanez LesPaul copy (setneck). It's my fathers. The only thing i know about it is the color(cherry sunburst) and that its bought before 75'. Where can i see the serial number and look up the age of it. I will soon put a picture here.

Im greatful for any help.

Jan:

Without a serial number it would extremely hard (if not impossible) to tell exactly how old your guitar is.

Sometimes there are clues in certain details, such as the headstock shape, fretboard corners, logo style and markings on the underside of pickups. If you can send photos of these areas, it would help.

Do you know if your father bought it new or used?
