Hi Guys,
I'm new to this this "vintage stuff". My 77 Ibanez Explorer copy has been in my working stable for years - I had no idea there was such talk about it? All I cared about was how well it played (even if it was a copy).
Now you have me second guessing myself - restore it, or sell it? Help me out!

It depends on what you mean by restore. If it just needs some hardware to get it back to original I would go for it but if your talking a refinish etc...Don't do it.Unless it's really trashed I would think you would lose some resale value with a complete makeover not to mention the fact there are some people on this site who would jump in front of a train before they would let you do it.I have a '76 and I love it.I can't speak about '70's Gibsons but I've played alot of 80's and 90's and not one has equaled the playability of the Ibanez.
