Hi all, my first post here and I suspect the beginning of a regular pattern of visiting, commenting, learning, etc.. I have long been a fan and player of Ibanez and Yamaha '70's copies and recently got one that is a bit puzzling. What I have is a Cherry Red '67 V copy, set-neck, no markings(serial, maker)at all. It is simply an amazing player and I suspect it is from the Fuji factory. The only printing anywhere is on the back of the pickups and it reads "patent applied for" and "made by Goto" (no "H") with a letter "D" as well. The truss rod cover is very much like a Les Pual Rather than the large white version the Gibsons had. The tuners are covered chrome "Keystone" style and the bridge and tailpiece appear to be identical to early '70's Gibson, only the thin bridge with the little retaining wire across the adjusting screws say "Japan" on the bottom. I will take pics and Email them to anyone that may be able to help identify the maker. Thanks you for the cool site, I look forward to visiting often.
