I bought a 85 pr 1660 to rebuild.
It came with just body, neck, and fitted case.
No Hardware or Electronics.
A Floyd Rose wont fit in it the mounting holes are to far apart. I think the orignal brige is a pro rocker?
but i cant find any on the net, or other guitars besides the proline series that had this system.
Is there a ibanze brige that will fit this without haveing bodywork and rerouted for a new brige system?
How about a kahler system?
I love this guitar since the first time i saw it so any suggestions would be massvie help thanks

DG,

Yes, the Ibanez ProRock'R was the original bridge on your guitar. It was installed on several models in the Roadstar, Artist, Pro-Line and X-Series. It was only available in '84 and '85.

Replacement parts from that era are very hard to find. You'll probably have to cannibalize another guitar to get what you need.

The Ibanez Hardrocker and Hardrocker Pro bridge may have the same stud spacing. The Hardrockers were available on quite a few models in '83 & '84. Maybe earlier than that. Unlike the ProRock'R, the Hardrocker is not a double-locking design.

If it were me, I'd spend the money to have a Floyd Rose or an Ibanez Edge installed along with a new locking nut. It will probably cost more than you paid for the whole guitar, but it'll be worth it for the playability.

Cheers
Steve
