I just got this delivered today and can't find any info on it - any comments from the experts? It is an L75xxxx serial # and feels just like a pre-serial # Ibanez I own so I am assuming it is from the same factory, but what do I call it? I can provide additional pics if needed. Thanks!

Hi Zoner!

Congratulations on buying this ultra rare model! I answered your questions in the other thread you've launched about this guitar.
I sure would like to have it in my Ibanez collection. If you ever want to get rid of it, please contact me!

Now that Harry has identified this guitar, can you send us more pictures of it?

Hi Zoner
Like John said: please send in some nice pictures, totals and details, if it's possible. I would like them in my archive since the only picture I've got from this model is the one that's in the (blurry) black-and-white scan of the 1974 catalogue.

Harry

Hi Graza!

Thanx for sharing with us! Nice guitar!
Due to your information my knowledge about Ibanez has extended again: Until now I thought this guitar was only in production in 1974 and 1975, but thanks to you we learned that these models also excist with a '76 serial number.
Proved again: with Ibanez you'll never stop learning!
Thanks again and you know....if you ever want to sell it, please contact me!
Kind greetz,
Harry

Hi folks!
Seems to me that guys in Ibanez did a trick with LP body, because the original L5-S body is completely differently shaped. Me thinks that the effort was not only to use up old parts, but to create a somewhat different LP.. :-) And seems they did extremely well, quite a beauty!

Harry and Johns, I would be happy to send detailed pics of this guitar - just let me know where to send them and what detail you need and I will do so. I am also open to selling this guitar as I had no business buying it in the first place according to my wife, so feel free to make an offer. It comes in a period - correct hard case of the same sort other Lawsuit instruments I have owned came with and I will entertain all offers. Contact me at lorwinerz@msn.com. Z

Harry, I sent a reply regarding this guitar and apologize to all the others that have contacted me about it and not gotten a response. I had a major computer issue and am pretty much "starting over" with contacts and Email. To those that wanted pics or had made an offer, I apologize and ask that if you still want the pics or are interested in buying this guitar, please contact me at lorwinerz@msn.com or at 612-703-3990. Sorry for the delays and thanks for all your help.
