i have a silver series strat replica. The model number is c782255. does the c mean challenger, and if so what does that mean? its sunburst, with all original components. is it worth anything, and if so would restoring it be a bad idea?

Punk guy911,

"c" denotes the month the guitar was made, ie C = march, 78 is year of manufacture.

Silver series strats are great playable guitars because of weight and the feel of the neck. Restoring it would depend on how much you want to spend, and what condition the frets are in, and what damage there might be.
