My favorite in my collection is an Ibanez Les Paul Jr. in TV Yellow. It has a set neck, P90 pickup, and it sounds and plays awesome. If anyone out there knows anything about this guitar, any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Flash!

Yes, they did know how to copy the P90 pickup. I have a Les Paul Special with two of them in it and it really barks! Great sound, great playability.
Your guitar is a pretty rare one. It was produced from 1974 until probably 1976, but until now we saw it last listed in the 1975 catalogue. Yours has the old "open book" headstock, so it must be from 1975 or 1974. Does the guitar have a serial number?
Kind greetings,
Harry

Hi Harry,

It has no serial number on the headstock or outside of the body. It has Z04 stamped on the fretboard after the 22nd fret, and it has 1611 under the pickup. Thanks a lot for the info, I really appreciate it.

I think this one was made for a trade show or something similar.
