here are picks of my friends first electric-guitar. a LP Deluxe 59er model in all original condition. I guess he still uses the original, 29 year old strings. Iīd like to buy it but donīt know what I should pay. can you help me with that? What model-no. is it? here are the pics.
ibanezLP1, ibanezLP-Headst, ibanezLP-back, ibanezlp-pusibanezlp-serial, ibanezlp-heaadst1

as you can see, the gold-hardware looks ugly, the pus (super 70) also and there are a lot of scratches mainly on the back, but also on the neck and the side of the quitar. so, how much should I pay?
tks for helping

Hi StationC

The model number is 2342 and the guitar is in original condition. The gold(paint) coating on the hardware is worn, but that's pretty common on 30 year old Ibanez guitars.
Given the fact that this model is one of the less popular Ibanez Les Paul models and given the condition of this guitar I'd say 300 dollar would be a fair price.

Greetz,

The D-string tuner looks like a replacement to me. Otherwise I agree with Harry saying it looks very original. Are you serious about the original strings?

yeah, the d-tuner is a replacement. good eyes. now I know why I have to wear glasses, but I should buy a new and stronger one. with the strings: he is so poor that I guess he is cooking them out, like I do with my bass strings every 2 month *lol*.
so thank you guys but he told me that he is not willing to sell it, for this was and still is his first electric. (but he also has a very old hoyer-guitar (LP-sunburst) with a neckthru neck and active pus. lets see if I can get this one....
