Replica or Mutant? What do I resemble?

It isn't a literal copy of anything in particular but the combining of 2 Gibson designs into one works very well, I think, in this exercise. Comments? Questions? They seem to be made up from various "left- over" parts from the factory. It plays really well and the tail piece and thick side binding looks great.it's just good to play something that looks different from your standard L.P copies. Zoner Username: Zoner Registered: 02-2003 Posted on Friday, February 25, 2005 - 12:59 pm:    There is a subtle neck profile difference between mine and a Black Beauty LP Custom copy I have from the save vintage. The neck is larger and very rounded rather than being somewhat "C" shaped. The fretwork and construction detail on the neck seem to be better on the Sunburst model. I am very impressed with the tone of the guitar as well although I have yet to pull the pickups and see what they are.
