I ran across an late 70's model (i think 78 imay be wrong) LP copy with a vine inlay. It was in a local pawn shop. Looks to be all original. Here is the bad part- the pawn shop is neither heated in the winter or cooled in the summer. The neck is a bolt on and the plate is pretty rusty, it has the open book head stock. a real nice vine inlay on the fretboard. but the neck appears warped to me and the fretboard even has mold on the wood.. i was appalled. can the warp in the neck be taken out or is this guitar toast??? the guy wants like 400 dollars for this thing, oh yeah plenty of tarnish on the metal. One last thing i remember going to this pawn shop about 10 years ago and vaguely remember seeing this same guitar-- that means 10 plus years in that horrible environment for the wood on this guitar...what are your thoughts everyone?

Warp may (or may not) be removed by a skilled guitar tech with a heat press.

I'd offer the guy $50. Cleaned up a bit it would make a nice wall decoration.
