Hey everybody! I'm the new guy, and I wanted to share this with people who appreciate it. I just picked this up today. It has no serial anywhere, but has the pickguard with the cutout. Does that make it a 75? I bet the 'only a Gibson is good enough' cork-sniffing snobs would flip out if they knew I traded my 67V RI straight up for it! No regrets, either! I bought my Gibson new and later realized I could have done a better paint job drunk with a roller.
I've had this for about 4 1785489(1978?). I love it too but the tailpiece is bent from string tension and the gold needs replating. Any help?
Thanks guys and I look forward to hanging around here.

How do I make my pics show up here instead of just the links? I'm a computer moron. I read the thing on the main page and didn't understand.

Looks almost exactly like mine! Even the mini switch (not an original feature)!!

Does the neck remind you of a '61 SG/LesPaul...really slim ? Mine does (I have a '76 with serial number).
