Looks like a model 2390. These are in the catalogs from '71 thru '75.

Is that bridge bent or is it an optical illusion?

Freak:

I think that might be a strange glare on the bridge, but I'd ask about it if I were serious about bidding. The wood insert on the tailpiece looks cracked. And it's definitely acquired a brass nut; I doubt that was stock in the early 70s.

I don't think he's right in calling it a 335Dot replica. It's more like a 330/345 hybrid. It has a 330 style tailpiece, and a 345 style neck with double parallelogram position markers. Not a dot in sight !

You guys are better informed than me on all things Ibanez but…………….is the wood insert on the tailpiece correct ? – looks home-made(ish) to me

Billy:

The tailpiece is just as Ibanez designed it. Not very pretty in my opinion, but original...albeit slightly damaged.

Yo guys

Again I'll bow the superior knowledge of you guys. I guess you could remove the insert and it would look like a standard tailpiece. Were these completely hollow bodies ? Just curious
