hi, in the RSII315 that i just got, comes with an original cream coloc V2. I heard good comments on this pickup, but i saw it only has 1 pole (only humbucker sound, no split in single option), and as the 315 is a 1 mic only guitar i was hoping to get a clean sound out of it. Would it be wiser to get a brand new pic and adding a pull switch pot?? (maybe a paf pro?)... or the v2 is worth keeping it? im looking for classic rock sound, and a few clean sounds (mostly in gigs)

thanks!

Why can't you get a clean sound out of a V-2? Just roll the volume off or back off the gain on your amp.
