I've seen a number of them out there for sale, including one in the window of Sam Ash on 48th Street in Manhattan.

It sure looks purty! Around the same price as the one on e-bay MK?

I think they were asking around $6,600.

Fingers:

If a collector is only focused on the '75 to '80 Artwood 2670s, then they would probably not esteem the 2670REs the same "prestige". If "prestige" translates into "monetary value", then I guess such a collector would never consider that the reissue should be valued at more than an original.

But as an owner of an RE (I have #3), I can say first-hand, that they are fantastic guitars! I put my money where my mouth is because I believe they will retain their value over the long-haul. Do I think that they are worth the $9,333.33 that Hoshino quotes as a "list price"? No.

Musician's Friend has #18 listed at $6,999.99. (If you want to buy it, :-) please support ICW by using the MF link, in the menu to the left. It's product #511689) It's a stunner:

2670REFrontWhole
2670REFBackWhole
2670REHeadstock
2670REFNeck

BTW, if you want more than one, SamAsh.com says they have two in stock ($6,999.99):

Freak:

Not sure about which was the "last email." Did I not respond to something? If so, can you send it again?
