Can someone get back to me on a value on this Roadstar II? Serial is C83... so it's a 1983. I have no idea about Roadstar values:

Chuckee:

Personally, I would put this in the same range as the Blazer: $200-300.

This will give you a pretty good idea of market value:

Thanks, everyone! Mr. R. I did find that auction right after I posted. The guy who has the one above wants $160 for it, and I really like the way it looks. Trouble is it's 60 miles away, so figure three hours of my time and $20 in gas. I'm thinking it over now.

How do these play compared to strats?

He wants $160? Go into ANY music store and see what you can buy for that price. You might wanna jump in the car...

Chuck if this is in decent shape go for it. I had one of these back in the mid 80's and they are very good guitars.

After thinking about it, I've owned a couple '84 RS130's that were fine guitars. So was my '81 Blazer BL500. I have a personal dislike for most single coils and don't like the feel of Maple fretboards. So I tend to dismiss those guitars.

The Guitar in question actually an '83 RS100. Very similar to the RS130 and BL500 mentioned above (hardtail, triple singles, maple fretboard).

That one on eBay finished at $330. If I buy it, it will be just to flip it. I dunno. I don't think I have the energy.
