hey everyone! I have an Ibanez rg450-eg, at least that is what the sticker on the back of the neck says. Made in korea is printed on the neck. its a maple neck, has a lo trs trem. Its emerald green (i think thats what the eg stands for)

does this sound right? the reason i ask is because i cant find any other rg450's with a maple neck, and the only one with a maple neck had the lo trs2 trem unlike mine. Under the pickguard is a few extra screw holes so i dont know what this is or used to be. The serial number is S4042169.

any information would be greatly apperciated

Jamesianwheeler:

Welcome!

Check out this link to the 1994 catalog:

The RG450 in EG with maple neck and Lo-TRS II trem is listed near the bottom of the model specs.

cool Johns, thanks for the reply. The pic is very interesting. The only difference between the one in the catalogue and mine is the trem. Mine is a lo trs, not the trs 2. May this indicate that its an earlier model or has somebody changed the trem? Thanks for the response, JIW!!!
