How do newer AR300 ETC COMPARE??

They went out of style in the around '86-'87. The TRC actually said something like 'Artist Reissue'. I used to own one. I wonder if the ar300 is going to sound like the ar100 in about 25 years, because that is the big difference between the twoo! The quality, playability and looks is as good on the ar300 but the sound!! I think the pups and the wood on an electric needs some time to mature! But, hey, the ar300 is a real good guitar and it could´nt bee wrong. I bought the newer one without very high expectations. While it was certainly descent quality guitar...it just didn't feel like quality the way the Japanese vintage guitars feel. And the sound was definetly different...not bad but not like the old ones. Perhaps this has to due with the differences in woods and pickups as Holmis stated.
