Thanks to companies such as Payless Guitars, who make Ibanez forgeries, when I see this on my local Craigslist:

You can ask to see the receipt, the warranty document etc and see if the original seller is a reliable store and they sold the same guitar (serial #).

Perhaps it is better to buy vintage Ibanezes only or those we know are MIC anyway.
