That is a beauty!
It has a 1-piece mahogany neck not a 3-piece maple? Chunkier I would suppose? The fretboard is RW instead of Ebony. Did Ibanez stop using bone and brass nuts on the Artists in the late 70's early 80's?

This is a beaty. The brazillian rosewood is sweet! I am posting the ebay pics because they need to be here on ICW.

Spruce top!? I bet that baby sounds as gorgeous as it looks!!!

Other than the LR10, that's the only other Ibanez I've ever heard of with a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard. Anyone know of others with that premium wood?

Michael, that is true.. nevertheless, I might have a shot.. let's see.. :-)
Both those,1500 and 1505 and also the "little sister" AR700 are of that "normal wiring" variety, just 2 humbuckers and 2 vol -2 tone...
As well as "new" Artists 2000 etc.

I had to "bump" this up so I could find it easier, and get my daily dose of looking at this guitar.

My, my, oh my, . . . what can I say. For me, this pretty much defines "guitar porn"
