I recently bought a black 1984 Roadstar II, but I don't know which model is it. The guy said it was an RS 1000, but I'm not so sure, so I need to check.
The guitar is all black, with black Smooth Tuners II, arched body, white two-striped binding, two Super 58 buckers, two nobs with single coil/humbucker option. It's in good shape, but needs some refreshment. I don't have a photo of my plank, but it looks exactly like thi one:

Any help?

Looks like an RS1000BK to me.

They only made 100 of 'em in Black.

The picture I used says it's an RS 1300DX, but I couldn't find if the 1300's have the duo sound option. Mine has it. The specs about the RS1000 say it has gold hardware, mne's all black.
Anyway - if is this is indeed the RS 1000 BK, how much is it worth?

OK. I've read some threads by You and it clearly seems to ba a black RS 1000, because 1300's have 3 knobs, mine has two Duo-Sound knobs and the bridge seems to be a Hardrocker. Of course I cant' find any of'em on ebay, but I need to know how much can it be worth. I don't wan't to sell it, of course, but it's good to know what your playing, isn't it?

Crap! I said it wasn't a photo of my plank, but some dude's from Ibanez Register.
Anyone can tell for sure if it really is the RS 1000 BK and how much is worth or you just interested in the pot with pot in it :-)

This is why I get so freakin' frustrated with this site. I have spent coutless hours researching and collecting info on Roadstars, and for what? To have every response questioned?

It's a G** D***** RS1000BK. They only made 100 of 'em in Black.

What difference does it make what the value is, especially if you're not gonna sell it? If I tell you it's worth $10,000 does that make it play or sound any better than if it's worth $100?
