I sold this guitar to the seller a while back. If I remember correctly, it was pretty nice. Notice the TRC: Artist Reissue. Yes - it has trisounds, however, the switches are newer as are the perloids. The Custom Legends guitars were made from leftover parts. Here's the real Custom Legend:

- CS finish
- original trisounds
- Super 80's

It was originally listed with an ebony fretboard too which was a little confusing. He changed the ad to rosewood after I asked about it. Looks like a run of the mill newer AR300 with tri-sounds installed to me. Are those links in his auction legit?

He says there was an MC300DS reissue made between '96 and '98. Is that true?

From what I've read, yes, although I've never actually seen one.
